Back to Porthtowan I went. It was a quick stop off before a trip that went slightly wrong, but that’s another story!

The clouds glow bright and reflect on the jellyfish littered beach.
I headed down to the left hand side of the beach barefoot with the sand sifting through my toes. A simple decision I’d regret afterwards due to having at least 10 jellyfish squelching beneath my feet.

The clouds glow in the sunset and waves roll in over the rocks.

Jellyfish litter the beach as waves roll in under the sunset sky.
The clouds were working well which made me glad of my choice not to drag the tripod down and do it all handheld instead. Instead of messing about with levelling the tripod, I could just get on with trying different shots.
The clouds kept on playing ball all night and made for some fantastic shots. Not bad for a last minute trip to Porthtowan!
